BSU 17 FSU 14- No scoring the second half until Wolpin rushed for the winning Boise TD late in the fourth quarter.

FAU 41 NT 17 -  Devin Singletary ( 26 CAR, 164 YDS, 3 TD)  and the Owls were too much for the Mean Green

TOL 45 Akron 28 -  Woodside tossed 4 TDs early.

Troy scored the winning TD  over ArkSt with 32 seconds left and App St pounded ULL to become Sunbelt co-champs.

Last night #smu beat Zona, Uconn beat Oregon, and #ucf beat Nebraska so its the right time  for my selections. #wichitast was nipped by Notre Dame.
Cincinnati: Clark and Washington lead a strong Cats' squad

Wichita State: McDuffie's return from injury will keep  the Shockers near the top all season

Connecticut: Terry Lanier leads a solid group of Huskies

SMU: Ben Emelogu II and the Mustangs will be tough

Temple: Shizz Alston Jr. and the Owls may creep into the top

Houston: Rob Gray is a big time scorer

UCF: Big man Tacko Fall  will need DeJesus or another Knight to increase his scoring.

Tulane: Coach Dunleavy continues the slow turnaround with Melvin Frazier, a solid guard.

Memphis : Coach Tubby has an uphill battle

East Carolina: Pirates will need to steal a few wins

Wichita St only loss is to Notre Dame and they beat Baylor.. Cincy has stumled but to good teams.Florida and Xavier. Tulane has three losses. I get the losses to UNC and Florida St, but #gerogia st ?
1/2/18: Catching up  AAC hoops: .Houston is 2-0 in first place. #wichitast beat Uconn 72-62 in itsdebut AAC game . #landryshamet scored 16 for the Shockers.
1/9/18: #wichitast and #cincy  are undefeated in conference play atop the AAC. #Temple is winless. How about Tulane (2-1) wins over SMU and Temple and a loss to Tulsa. Reynolds and Frazier are each averaging nearly 17 PPG.
1/14/18- Don't look now but the #aac has some exciting hoops. #tulsa nearly upset #wichitast . #cincy  took a nap early then crushed #usf. Tubby's Tigers are  slowly getting the message Memphis 75 Temple72.  UConn edged Tulane, not sure if Olie's guys got the message or Tulane's wave has ebbed.
1/21/18: Honeymoon is over for #WichitaSt . #houston led by Rob Gray (24 PTS, 3 REB, 4 AST) beat them 73-59.Cincy remains undefeated in AAC play with an easy win over ECU.

Cincy, Houston, and Wichita keep winning. Right mow these three should be going to the Dance.  Maybe the AAC gets a fourth ticket but it ain't looking like UConn who lost 76-50 to Temple.

Cincy keeps finding away to not lose.  The hot #temple Owls gave Wichita St it's third AAC loss.

@cincy crushed  SMU and have to be considered a  2 seed at the Dance. Houston crushed Tulane and UCF edged Memphis.Is Tubby headed for an exit from Memphis? It may be down to just three AAC teams getting in Cincy, Houston, and Wichita St.
2/16/18 update: #houston tried to foul the game away but a big home W over Cincy..I don't know why they were playing on Texas Southern's court. Shaquille Morris (23 PTS, 13 REB, 1 AST) led Wichita St  big second half surge for a 93-86 win over Temple. Sterling Taplin (30 PTS, 3 REB, 4 AST) led Tulsa to a won over UConn and may have them back in the Dance mix.
feb 19 update. Temple Owls are off the Dance limb after #houston  beat them easily yesterday. Bearcats lost to Wichita and #tulsa  kept their slim dance hopes alive with a win over #usf

Boise State: Hutchinson suffered a concussion against ISU last night, and the Broncos  cant afford to lose him for too many games

San Diego State- Its now Coach Dutcher's team and theyll need big play from Malik Pope
New Mexico: McNeal and the Lobos will be erratic.

Muss Bus   stalled at times against CSU but  Caleb Martin had 26 points and Lindsey Drew added 16 and eight rebounds in a #nevada victory.
These guys , Brandon McCoy UNLV - 24 PTS, 8 REB, 1 AST and Justinian Jessup BSU -  18 PTS, 7 REB, 1 AST, put on a good show  for their respective teams as #boisest outlasted #UNLV to remain 1GB behind Nevada

Top #mwc three won last night. : Kendall Stephens (30 PTS, 3 REB, 1 AST) led NEV  over SJST. Chandler Hutchison (27 PTS, 4 REB, 2 AST) led Boise St over Col. St.  Deshon Taylor (22 PTS, 5 REB, 1 AST) led #fresno over UNLV. Boise has two MWC games left while Nevada and Fresno each have three.
feb26 update-  #Mussbus won the MWC regular season title yesterday. #nevada deserves a Dance ticket regardless of  how they perform in the MWCT. #boise ain't getting much love from the pundits.
march 8 update. RD1 today UNLV/AFA CSU/UtahSt  SJST/Wyoming.  Unless someone upsets #nevada later  this week it's probably one dance ticket for the #MWC.
march 10 update: Wow, #DevinWatson scored 20 points to lead San Diego State to a 90-73 blowout over Nevada. They 'll fae #newmexico  who beat Utah St. Nevada should still get a Dance ticket
march 12 update: I'm not sure why but the #MWC is one the few  non-power conferences that didn't get royally screwed over by the Dance Committee. #nevada is a 7th seed  despite not winning its conference tourney  and plays texas in rd1 . #sdst is an eleven seed and faces houston in rd 1 .
march 17 update: #mussbus needed OT to roll by Texas  on their way to a game with Cincy. K Stephens scored 22 and Caleb Martin had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolfpack.. J McDaniels had eighteeen points as SDST hung tough but fell to Houston.
March 18: #Mussbus screwed up my bracket with big comeback win over Cincy. Cody Martin 
NEV  (25 PTS, 6 REB, 7 AST) J Hall had a nice game of the bench with  (14 pts, 6 Reb)

It's not often I can post local hoops news about the #MWC. #Zane Martin  a second-team All-CAA selection last season for #towsonU, a school a few minute north of Baltimore City, is tranferring to New Mexico.  He put up 19.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

CUSA: #herd are comig off a tough loss to UTSA. USM has been playing decent football and will edge Marshall 17-16.
MAC: #NIU edges #CMU 20-19 to stay in the West race.
MWC:  Fresno 13 Boist 12 East/west leaders matchup. Fresno D win the day.
Sunbelt: Two of four  (5-1) teams , GAST and Appst match up, Connor Manning tosses two TD to lead GAst to a home victory 26 -20

AAC- I got  the UCF pick correct but the number of points was nearly double as a USF KO return with less than two minutes to go  sealed thde 49-42 win
MAC- Shane Morris  tossed three TDS  for CMU in their 31-24 win over #niu which gives Toledo first in West. In the East Akron finished first after Ohio lost to Buffalo.
MWC: Well , #mcmaryion tossed 3 TDS  in #fresnost 28-13 win over #boise.Re-match next week in the MWC title game.
Sunbelt:  A healthy Jalin Moore   (32 CAR, 239 YDS, 1 TD) led #appst to a 31-10 win.
CUSA- I called this as a one point game. #herd fail to convert a two conversion and fall 28-27 to #usm.  Griggs threw 3TDS for USM and Litton threw four TDS for Marshall.

march 28 update: Justin Johnson's (24 PTS, 11 REB, 2 AST) solid game was not enough for #wku in the 69-64 loss to Utah , who will face Penn St in #NIT final.
March 31 update: I tuned in to the end of the #northtexas 88-77 win over #usf in the CBI. NTX hit their free throws down the stretch.Roosevelt Smart scored 25 points and made all 14 of his free throws.   The champion is determined  by the a two out of three series.

May 30, 2018 : I'm not digging the #Cusa hoop scheduling change in which the top five teams in the league will play each other for the final four conference games, as will teams seeded 6-10 and teams seeded 11-14. Yes, I think the #cusa get shorted on dance tickets, but gearing everything toward the RPI metrics and having some teams face each other three times in the reular season  borders on bizarre.

MWC: Two 5-1  teams, Wyoming and Fresno St matchup. #Mcmaryion throws a late TD pass as #fresnost survives #wyoming 14-13.
Sunbelt: Two teams , arkst and Txst , are coming off tough losses. #damianwilliams , Txst QB, will take the Bobcats to a 23-19 win.

 Brown (142 yards)  & Rourke (115 yards)  led the potent #ohio rushing attack to a 38-10 win over #toledo. #ohio has a two game lead over #akron in the East. #toledo has a half game lead over over #niu in the West

#Owls had all facets in gear including Isaiah Wright's  98 yard kickoff return. Temple 35 Cincy 24 and I'm 0-2 this week.

#erderly was involved in 3 TDs and Brown rushed for 128 yards as #uab beat #utsa  and moved with one game of #ntu in the West. My only correct pick -rough week.
What a doozy: #bsu survived #csu 59-52. Ryp (BSU) woke up and threw 4 TDs.
