I've been following Chicago St hoops out of the corner rof my eye for years and  the Cougars won 5 games in the NEC(1A)  this year , which was an improvement.  They've found a way to fund a football team that starts play in  as an Independent FCS for 2026/27, then joins the NEC(FCS) for 2027/28 season.
