O5 football Week 4 ending Sept 24

AAC- In a rare Sunday matchup #ecu  will  finally win and on the road. #minshew will toss two TD's passes  in  21-18 win over #uconn edsels.
CUSA- North Texas played Iowa tough for a half. Wilson had a decent  day rushing and should improve against UAB, who has  Brown, a solid freshman RB. NT 19  UAB 17
MAC: #emu led by QB Roback should survive a tough one against visiting #ohio with Quellete leading the rushing attack . EMU 24 Ohio 20
MWC:  It's hard to ignore the  Aztecs wins over Ariz St and Stanford. Chapman's arm and Penny's legs will lead #sdst  over #afa. SDST 31 Air Force 20
SunBelt: #ULM and #ULL are coming off rough starts against Power 5 opponents. #jordan davis  has tossed for nearly 700 yards and will lead the Cajuns to 26  17 win over ULM.
Sept 24 Review:
CUSA: A.J. Erdely  UAB(17-36, 321 YDS, 4 TD) had a huge day passing but Jeffery Wilson  #UNT
(26 CAR, 211 YDS, 1 TD)  but the Mean Green hung on. UNT 46 UAB 43
MAC: Brogan Roback  EMU (28-47, 271 YDS, 1 TD)  and A.J. Ouellette  OHIO (26 CAR, 145 YDS) had decent games , but Rourke's TD pass in OT  pushed Ohio to a 27-20 win.
MWC: #rashaaadperry 's late 53 yard TD run helped the Aztects survive the AFA upset bid. #sdst 28 #afa 24.
SunBelt: #ULM 56-50 OT win over #ull has me at .500 for the weekend pending the #ecu /#uconn game today. C. Evansn of ULM (16 CAR, 129 YDS, 5 TD) was a scoring machine.
Sept 25 review
More offense than I predicted in the #ecu 41-38 win over #uconn. Impressive numbers for Thomas Sirk  ECU (30-39, 426 YDS, 3 TD) which allowed them to survive the Huskies scoring the final 17 points of the game

O5 Week 3 mixed bag

#MWC: #Rypien may get into gear this week and find C.Wilson in the end zone a few times leading #boise to a 30-20 win over #Newmexico, who needs to turn up its rushing attack.
#Sunbelt : #NMST beat #newmexico in week 1 and has a some potent offensive players  , Rogers (QB), Rose (RB), etc, that may wreak havoc in its goodbye Sunbelt  tour . #troy is looking for more O. NMST 26  Troy 17
#cusa : Two teams . #latech and #wku, that  usually battle for the CUSA title, need this one badly. Battle of QBs as Smith leads LA Tech to a narrow road win over White and the Hilltoppers.
#mac vs #aac: Ohio flavor as Ragland will  throw a few TDs keeping Miami (OH)  close in narrow loss to #cincy who will finally get Boone untracked.
Sept 15 review: Boise  took it's time in   a 28-14 over UNM win and not sure why Rypien didn't play.
Sept 16 review: Rogers (NMST) threw for 336 yards but it wasn't enough to over come #Silvers passing and running. Troy 27 NMST 24.
Ragland's pick 6 to Cincy was among a few Miami O errors that allowed the Bearcats to roar back for a 21-17 win.
Called the narrow La Tech win giving me a 2-2 record for the weekend

O5 moves into conference play weekend 0f 9/9/17

AAC: Memphis hurries to UCF to beat Hurricane Irma  and will need another monster game from Henderson to hold off Milton and the potent Knights' O. Mem  31 UCF 30
CUSA: #Rice @ #utep  . Maybe Stewart gets in gear for the Owls after the Stanford loss, but I think the deeper #utep squad bounces back from the OU loss. Watch Dove ran wild. UTEP 27 Rice 19
MAC: No conference matchup: #Buffalo @ #Army (independent) should be a close matchup of New York schools. #tyreejackson will toss a lot of passes in a narrow Buffalo win  20-19 over the rushing attack of Army .
MWC/Sunbelt: I 'll go intrastate with #newmexico edging #newmexicost (SunBelt). Rogers will be tossing the ball a ton for NMST  while the Lobos will let #lamarjordan toss a few more passes than usual. NM 30 NMST 27
UCF/Mem cancelled so here's another #AAC pick  Navy's QB #abey legs  vs #tulane Banks arm. Navy 33 Tul 29

Sept 10 review: 

Abey's running and passing helped #navy edge #tulane ,who relied mostly on rushing,  23-21 .
Well, I blew the #cusa game. Owls rushed for 306 yards and right over #utep 31-14
#bradshaw rushed for 147 yards, but it was #woofolk, Army FB who scored two late TDs   in the 21-17 victory over #buffalo.
I nearly got the score correct but blew the call on the winner. Tyler Rogers  #NMSU QB's statline says it all: 34-57, 401 YDS, 4 TD

O5 quick snaps Labor Day weekend 2017

I'll try to stick to conference matchups but may not find many so I'll go  for possible close games.
1) #FIU (CUSA) visits #UCF (AAC):  Butch Davis' squad will stay in this one for  three quarters but UCF will prevail 30-17 behind QB #miltonmckenzie
2) #marshall (CUSA)  D won't contain   #miamiohio QB Ragland's aerial show. Miami O 31 MU 19
3) #coloradost (MWC) crushed Oregon St of the Pac 12 last week but Colorado is a  tougher team.
Plenty of Hype over the QBs, Montez  of the Buffaloes, and Stevens of CSU, so watch the rushing game be the key. Colorado 27 CSU 25
4) #coastalcarolina (sunbelt)  faces #umass who lost a tough one to Hawaii last week. #CCU will have a tough time slowing down the Ford to Breneman connection. UMass 33 Ccu 26
September 1: Well #FIU lasted a quarter and a half before Mckenzie and crew rolled them. Nice game for FIU #ThomasOwens  5 REC, 99 YDS, 1 TD. UCF 61 FIU 17
Sept 2 : I was correct about the Buffaloes but definitely thought there would be more O. Col 17 
CSU 3. I didn't foresee the  shaky offensive pass interference calls.
Sept 3: Ragland put up decent stats,, but the #herd got 3TDs from for the special teams and D:  Keion Davis returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and Chris Jackson added a pick6 . #marshall 31 MIami O 26. Cheers to #coastalcarolina RB #Abercrombie had 17 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns in #CCU 38-28 win over Umass.

Wyoming- Josh Allen tosses the Cowboys to another division title.

Boise St.- Coach Harsin will need an instant upgrade on D

Colorado St.- Stevens to Gallop and pray for some D

Air Force- That ground attack keeps them competitive

New Mexico- Lobos went bowling last season and will need some D miracles to do it again

Utah St-Ags open with Wisky and may not recover..

WEST

San Diego St.- Coach Long's Aztecs D will power them to the division title.

UNLV- Armani to Keys suits the Rebs fine

Fresno St- Coach Tedford  wants to get back to the power 5- look for better Bulldogs' football

Hawaii-#drubrown and the O can score but Warriors secondary is porous.

Nevada- Look for Bama transfer #davidcornwell to do a decent job at QB
