AAC: Battle for the East- Two exciting QBs, Flowers (USF) and MIlton (UCF).UCF remains undefeated in a 24-23 win over USF.
CUSA: #herd are comig off a tough loss to UTSA. USM has been playing decent football and will edge Marshall 17-16.
MAC: #NIU edges #CMU 20-19 to stay in the West race.
MWC:  Fresno 13 Boist 12 East/west leaders matchup. Fresno D win the day.
Sunbelt: Two of four  (5-1) teams , GAST and Appst match up, Connor Manning tosses two TD to lead GAst to a home victory 26 -20

AAC- I got  the UCF pick correct but the number of points was nearly double as a USF KO return with less than two minutes to go  sealed thde 49-42 win
MAC- Shane Morris  tossed three TDS  for CMU in their 31-24 win over #niu which gives Toledo first in West. In the East Akron finished first after Ohio lost to Buffalo.
MWC: Well , #mcmaryion tossed 3 TDS  in #fresnost 28-13 win over #boise.Re-match next week in the MWC title game.
Sunbelt:  A healthy Jalin Moore   (32 CAR, 239 YDS, 1 TD) led #appst to a 31-10 win.
CUSA- I called this as a one point game. #herd fail to convert a two conversion and fall 28-27 to #usm.  Griggs threw 3TDS for USM and Litton threw four TDS for Marshall.

Jan 12: #mtsu and #wku are 4-0 in CUSA play.  C.J. Burks scored a career-high 33 points on 12-of-19 shooting helping the #herd recover from big loss to #wku with a win over Charlotte.
Jan 21: #herd  beat #mtsu and #uab this week.. MTSU recovered from that loss with a win over  #wku yesterday. #odu led by #AhmadCaver (17 PTS, 7 REB, 4 AST) beat  #FAU and moved into a tie for first with WKU and MTSU.
Jan 28: #herd run over late by #wku (7-1).#brandonwaters (17 pts 12 reb) led #mtsu (8-1) to an easy win UTEP. #utsa hit 15 treys in a win over UAB. Is the NTX  Mean Green revving up with wins over FAU and FIU.
Feb 11: Elmore and Paneva had solid night  in the #herd win FAU.  #Nickyoung 32points helped MTSU get by NTU. #ODU and #wku won to keep the race tight.  UTSA 63 UTEP 59 #deonlyle hit five of eight trays  to keep a surprising #utsa in  the picture.

march 24 update: Western Kentucky is in the NIT F4. #WKU freshman Taveion Hollingsworth scored  30 points (4 of 7 treys, and 8 of 9 free throws)  in a 92-84 win @ #OKst and faces #utah next.  Penn St/ Miss St is the other semi. In the CIT, #Utsa was outscored 48-32 in the second  half and lost to Sam Houston St . 76-69

march 28 update: Justin Johnson's (24 PTS, 11 REB, 2 AST) solid game was not enough for #wku in the 69-64 loss to Utah , who will face Penn St in #NIT final.
March 31 update: I tuned in to the end of the #northtexas 88-77 win over #usf in the CBI. NTX hit their free throws down the stretch.Roosevelt Smart scored 25 points and made all 14 of his free throws.   The champion is determined  by the a two out of three series.

May 30, 2018 : I'm not digging the #Cusa hoop scheduling change in which the top five teams in the league will play each other for the final four conference games, as will teams seeded 6-10 and teams seeded 11-14. Yes, I think the #cusa get shorted on dance tickets, but gearing everything toward the RPI metrics and having some teams face each other three times in the reular season  borders on bizarre.

MAC: #Ohio powerful running game  is the difference in a 19-17  win over  #Akron  and takes a one game lead over Akron in the East.
MWC: Two 5-1  teams, Wyoming and Fresno St matchup. #Mcmaryion throws a late TD pass as #fresnost survives #wyoming 14-13.
Sunbelt: Two teams , arkst and Txst , are coming off tough losses. #damianwilliams , Txst QB, will take the Bobcats to a 23-19 win.

Lost the first hunch: #katowilson tossed 4 TDs in Akron's 37-34 win over #Ohio. Both teams are tied for first in the East.

MAC: In a battle for the West, Woodside's passing will lead #toledo over #niu 23 -16.
MWC: #joshallen  and the #wyoming Cowboys rustle the #csu rams 33-29.
Sunbelt: #Idaho is not leaving the #sunbelt and 1A football quiely and will battle #troy to the end but fall 24-23. Look #silvers to shine big tossing a few TDs for Troy.

AAC: #tulane woke up too late in their loss to #usf and will lose 30-27 to #Memphis  who will focus on keeping #hilliard and the greenwave rushing attack in check.

MAC: #emu keeps hanging inthere but not getting the W. #niu. particularly the D, has been playing solid football. #NIU 20 #emu 17

#fau fell behind in the middle of game but #singletary rushed for 244yards and 4TD in a 42-28 win over #wku.
